Founded in 1996, The Big Heavy World Foundation is a volunteer-staffed nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting music made by Vermonters. It runs a public listening library and music shop, a record label, and programs that capture the history of Vermont's music while supporting the efforts of its contemporary musicians. "Big Heavy" recently co-founded a licensed low-power community radio station, 105.9FM 'The Radiator.'
